Conventional milling

Our precise and professional approach and state-of-the-art machinery enable us to meet all your conventional milling needs. CNC milling

Orodjarstvo Gorjak d.o.o. has a long-standing tradition of CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) milling and provides three- and five-axis CNC milling and drilling services. CNC milling is carried out with our state-of-the-art machinery. Our company carries out the machining of parts for all types of tools up to the following dimensions:

3 axis:

Grinding

In addition to high-quality machining, our grinding machines ensure that even and round surfaces are always created with great precision. Our company has grinding machines of various dimensions at its disposal, which facilitate precise grinding of any required part.

EDM and WEDM

Our company provides a wide range of sinker EDM services. You can choose between copper and graphite EDM. Sinker EDM is carried out up to the following dimensions:

Wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM)

Orodjarstvo Gorjak d.o.o. carries out both conventional and CNC turning, which enables us to meet any need you may have. High-quality turning services are provided.

CAD/CAM

Our company is aware of the fact that proper CAD-CAM development constitutes the basis for high-quality tools. For this reason, we avail of several workstations in our CAD-CAM department, which constitutes one of our main priorities, also in terms of training students, as we are aware of the fact that this is the only way to provide our customers with top quality also in the future.

Development and modelling

Our company develops and models technically complex products (3D) and assemblies that meet specific requirements of our customers, availing of the Pro/ENGINEER state-of-the-art software.

CAD

Tool construction constitutes the cornerstone of any high-quality tool-making facility. Our construction department avails of several workstations fitted with the Pro/ENGINEER or, nowadays, CREO software package and is able to import various formats such as: VDA, IGES, DXF, STEP, DWG, CATIA, etc.

CAM

3D models are created by means of computerised technology that facilitates an optimum tool manufacturing process. Models are created by means of NCG CAM and MASTERCAM software.

3D measurments

3D optical coordinate measurements that can be applied the same way as conventional coordinate measurements are becoming increasingly wide-spread. 3D optical measuring systems follow the principle of recording the desired object with a HD camera, which is followed by the processing thereof by the accompanying software that provides an exact specification of the 3D coordinates of the selected points, this in turn serving as the basis for specifying the points, location, distances, radiuses, etc. 3D measuring is particularly useful for:

  • measuring products for which the usual measuring methods cannot be applied,
  • controlling manufacturing quality during the product manufacturing process,
  • measuring concave shapes that are not clearly defined
